I bought this old electronic piano on a flea market. The seller told me that it works just fine. But that was a lie. The keyboard was rotten to death and did not work at all. So what to do? I decided to build me an electronic xylophon. Each former key had to be replaced by a metal plate and wired to the corresponding voice. Two metal sticks act as the beaters and are connected to a +3 volt bus. If you touch one ore more plates with the sticks it is as you would press down one or several keys. A sometimes even sparkling experience.
